Equipment

Touring skis with skins and crampons, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, helmet, climbing harness, crampons, a change of clothes and toiletries for the overnight stays (must be carried in your rucksack). In the Aventüras sports shop in Müstair you will find a large selection of high-quality ski touring hire equipment if required.

Overnight stays

• 1 night at Hotel Süsom Givè, Ofenpass (sauna)
• 1 night at Hotel Mayor, S-charl (shared bathroom, sauna, hotpot)
• 1 night at Hotel Chasa Chalavaina, Müstair (1st date) or at Hotel Helvetia, Müstair (2nd date, with SPA)

• Snacks (please bring your own or buy packed lunches in the hotels)
• On request: single room supplement CHF 30/night
• On request: extra night in Hotel Süsom Givè if you arrive the evening before, extra night in Hotel Chalavaina or Hotel Helvetia on the last day

Programme requirements

Basic fitness for ski tours up to 1,500 metres ascent. Good ski touring experience and deep snow technique (in all types of snow) required. The tour is possible with a splitboard. We do not recommend snowboarders with snowshoes.

Meeting point

At 8:00 am at the Hotel Süsom Givé, Ofenpass. We recommend travelling by public transport. The start and end points are served by public transport. If you arrive by car, there is a free car park on the Ofenpass.
