The more than 100-year-old farmhouse, which is constantly being adapted to today's requirements, is located just above the village of Müstair. It offers a magnificent view of the village and the valley, even of the neighbouring border with South Tyrol, 2 km away. A particularly powerful and cultural jewel is the internationally renowned monastery of St. Johann in Müstair, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Alpine monastery, which is still inhabited today, owes its existence to Charlemagne. Thus, Val Müstair is home to this UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, which is unique in Switzerland. Hikers and nature lovers on wheels will find something in Val Müstair that leaves nothing to be desired. The winter sports area at, around and on Minschuns in Val Müstair is a small and fine winter Eldorado. The area is particularly suitable for families with children. Val Müstair is also a unique cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing area. The Swiss National Park can be reached by post bus in about 45 minutes.
