Free admission for locals

On May 11, we will open our museum to the residents of Val Müstair. To mark the start of our anniversary year "1250 years of Müstair Abbey", locals will receive free admission to the museum on this day.

Come along and take a walk through the historic rooms or take a look at our new exhibitions. All exhibition texts are now also available in Romansh. The translations into Vallader are by Valentin Pitsch.

There will also be a guided tour of the three new exhibitions INNENLEBEN, IN PERSONA and BUN VIADI at 3 pm. The tour lasts around 45 minutes and is also free of charge for locals.

For children, young people and families, we offer a playful tour with our monastery trail for kids.
Join Babette the monastery cat on an exciting discovery tour. At twelve stations, you follow Babette through the monastery courtyard, into the church and the museum.

There are many creative tasks waiting to be solved with imagination and a spirit of discovery. You can search, draw and invent.

Warm clothing is recommended. We look forward to your visit!
