Description

The entry/start of the 3km long trail is at the Buffalora car park no. 2, Ofenbergstrasse drive in the direction of Passhöhe/Val Müstair, which is about 200m away from the Buffalora inn. The three loops are prepared for classic technique as well as for skating. This trail was created on private initiative and is also maintained by a private person. It would therefore be desirable if a collection could be left at the Buffalora Inn after use.

Among other things, another trail is also prepared as a winter hiking or sledding trail.

Take a break from cross-country skiing and admire the fantastic scenery that Buffalora has to offer, not only with its unique plain but also with its surrounding snow-capped peaks, some of them 3000m high. The imposing Piz Nair stands proudly on the border of the Swiss National Park. Looking towards the Ofen Pass, you can see the Munt da la Bescha, to the right of the Ofen Pass the Piz Daint, above Alp Buffalora the Munt Buffalora.

Geheimtipp

For a snack, there is the possibility of using the take-away service at the Buffalora inn.
