The ski tour to the Munt Buffalora is an ideal ski tour for beginners and leads over gentle alpine paths and hilly terrain along the national park border to the summit (2627m). Directions

From the Buffalora inn (1967 m), head southwards to Alp Buffalora (2032 m). There you take the alpine path that leads to the alpine hut (2195 m) on the ridge of Buffalora. The trail then heads westwards over steeper slopes and the terrace of the former iron mines (Minieras da Fier) until you reach the ridge of Munt Buffalora. From there, head southwards to the northern summit. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.

With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau, from the Upper Engadine or Scuol) hourly to Zernez.

Then take PostBus route 90.811 from Zernez to Buffalora P10.

Anreise Information

From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car transport through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27 and on the H28 in the direction of Val Müstair.

From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of Mals and then on the H28 in the direction of Zernez.

From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) in the direction of Mals and then on the H28 in the direction of Zernez.
