Description

The striking, wild and unspoilt natural landscape on the eastern edge of the national park impresses from the start of the tour. The tour connects the Lower Engadin capital of Scuol with the upper Val Müstair on the shortest and probably most attractive route. Through the impressive Val S-charl, past the picturesque miners' village dating back to the ore mining era, you reach the highest Swiss stone pine forest in Europe and continue over the Pass da Costainas into Val Müstair. The tour through the Val S-charl and over the Pass da Costainas is characterised by a unique and unspoilt natural and cultural landscape along a mountain stream, through sparse larch, Swiss stone pine and stone pine forests, amidst attractive Alps and rugged three-thousand metre peaks. It is well worth taking a break in the hamlets of S-charl and Lü.

Geheimtipp

The Astras Alp and the Champatsch Alp invite you to take a refreshing break in high summer.
