This house is mentioned in the Swiss art guide with the year of construction 1450. The marble coat of arms above the main portal refers to the birthplace of the only bishop from the Val Müstair so far, named Florentöni, who was an uncle of the famous founder of the order and social revolutionary Father Theodosius Florentini 1808 - 1865. 1887 the house was purchased by Sebastian Favé - Remias and developed into the inn & shop " zur Post ". On the occasion of a centenary celebration of the Mother of God in 1939, Bernard Conrad, husband of the heiress Margarita Favé, renamed the building, in memory of the noble family of the Carli of Hohenbalken, the Restaurant Hohenbalken, Romanesque Balcun At.
